Northern Dancer Breeders’ Cup Turf – Sunday, September 7th.

The best turf horses in the world compete for $700,000 in this 1-1/2 mile race in honour of Canada's all-time thoroughbred champion.

Woodbine Mile – Sunday, September 7th
Only the best-of-the-very-best compete in this $1-million classic run on Woodbine's world renowned E.P. Taylor Turf Course. This year’s winner is assured an entry in the $2-million Breeders’ Cup Mile.

Natalma Stakes – Sunday, September 14th
The two-year-old filly that wins this year’s Natalma Stakes will receive a berth in the new Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf.

Nearctic Stakes – Sunday, October 4th
The winner of this $500,000 Grade 2 turf sprint is California-bound with an automatic entry into the 6-furlong Breeders’ Cup Turf Sprint.

Summer Stakes – Sunday, October 4th
The 1-mile Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf awaits the winner of this $300,000 Grade 3 grass test for two-year-olds.

E.P. Taylor Stakes Presented by Emirates – Sunday, October 4th
A berth in the 1-1/4-mile Breeders’ Cup Filly & Mare Turf awaits the champion of this year’s E.P. Taylor Stakes.

Pattison Canadian International – Sunday, October 4th

The excellent, well-researched analysis of thoroughbred and standardbred racing offered on TV by Woodbine Entertainment Group’s stable of on-air talent has been extended to the company’s website at www.WoodbineEntertainment.com/WoodbineColumn. Eight of Woodbine’s on-air commentators, four standardbred, four thoroughbred, are writing weekly columns and giving opinions about local horse racing and anything else that might matter in the sport.
