Bell ExpressVu FAQs

1. WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY BELL EXPRESSVU SYSTEM?
You will receive your system directly from the dealer at the time of purchase.

2. HOW DO I ACTIVATE MY BELL EXPRESSVU SYSTEM?
Once you have purchased your system, please call 1-888-SKYDISH (759-3474) to activate your service. Your subscription period will not begin until you call us for activation.

4. WHAT IF I WANT A SECOND BELL EXPRESSVU BOX?
Subscribers can purchase a decoder from their local retailer.

5. WITH BELL EXPRESSVU, CAN I STILL WATCH CABLE OR MY OTHER DBS SATELLITE SYSTEM IN CONJUNCTION WITH HPItv OR DO I NEED TO BUY A NEW TELEVISION SOLELY TO VIEW HPItv?
There is no need to buy a new television. The HPItv cables can be connected to your existing television and viewed in conjunction with your existing programming service. The regular TV cable and satellite cable are inserted into the HPItv decoder box. Just like a VCR, you would then switch between both signals when you turn your HPItv box on and off.

6. WITH BELL EXPRESSVU, CAN I WATCH HPItv ON MORE THAN ONE TELEVISION SET?
HPItv can be watched on more than one television set. However, if you have HPItv on in one room and go into another room to watch it, the only channel on HPItv available will be the one you had on with your main set, just like any other satellite service. In order to watch all of the HPItv channels on multiple sets, you would need to purchase separate decoder boxes.

7. WITH BELL EXPRESSVU, CAN I TERMINATE THE SERVICE AT ANY TIME?
Yes, however HPItv will require 30 days notice to cancel your subscription. The satellite system you purchase is yours to keep. Refunds will not be offered on the satellite dish and receiver.

8. WITH BELL EXPRESSVU, WHAT HAPPENS IF I START MY SERVICE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE MONTH?
The day your box is turned on becomes your personal billing cycle. If you are a monthly subscriber, one month from the day you start receiving the signal your credit card will be re-billed and so on.

1. WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY ROGERS DIGITAL RECEIVER?
Digital terminals can be ordered online, by calling Rogers, or by picking up the terminal from one of our dealers.

2. HOW DO I ACTIVATE MY ROGERS DIGITAL SYSTEM?
Provided you are a Rogers customer for basic cable, you can activate digital cable by simply calling customer service at 1-888-ROGERS1. Many of the dealers for the Rogers Digital receiver will be able to activate the digital cable for you at the time of purchase.

3. ARE THERE WARRANTIES ON THE EQUIPMENT OR THE SERVICE?
There is a 2 year limited warranty on the digital terminal provided the terminal is under your name.

4. WHAT IF I WANT A SECOND ROGERS DIGITAL TERMINAL?
You can either rent one for $8.49 a month, or purchase one for $249. There is no programming credit available for extra treminals since there is no charge for additional programming on extra terminals.

5. WITH ROGERS DIGITAL CABLE, CAN I TERMINATE THE SERVICE AT ANY TIME?
Yes. If you are downgrading or disconnecting Rogers Digital Cable before the end of your 1 year committment, Rogers will charge back programming credits that you have received to a maximum of $100 on you last Rogers Cable invoice.

6. WITH ROGERS DIGITAL CABLE, WHAT HAPPENS IF I START MY SERVICE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE MONTH?
For the initial bill, you will only be billed for the number of weeks that your sevice has been active. After this, you will be on a regular billing schedule.

7. CAN I PICK AND CHOOSE MY DIGITAL CHANNELS?
Yes, Rogers Digital Cable offers the ability to buy specialty channels individually or in smaller groups.

8. IS THERE A CHARGE FOR INSTALLATION OF MY DIGITAL CABLE TERMINAL?
You can choose to install the Digital terminal yourself, or have one of Rogers' technicians come to your home and install it for you at a cost of $74.95. If you are an existing Rogers customer, and are transfering the service to another location, the charge is $19.99 for installation.

9. HOW MUCH DOES IT COST PER MONTH TO RENT THE DIGITAL TERMINAL?
The regular rate for each Digital terminal is $8.95 per month. This includes the Interactive Program Guide, and 40 Digital Music channels.

NOTE: Digital Cable is compatible with your VCR, Home Theatre or stereo system.

1. WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY DIGITAL RECEIVER?
Digital receives can be purchased at a licensed dealer, on-line at
http://www.cogeco.com/ or by calling 1-888-6COGECO (626-4326). When you call Cogeco, the receiver will be delivered to your home.

2. HOW DO I ACTIVATE MY COGECO DIGITAL RECEIVER?
If you are purchasing your digital receiver from a licensed dealer, simply call 1-888-6COGECO to activate your system. Otherwise, when your receiver is delivered, a Cogeco technician will set up and activate your system.

3. ARE THERE ANY WARRANTIES ON THE EQUIPMENT OR THE SERVICE?
Cogeco offers a full 3 year warranty including technical upgrades.

4. WHAT IF I WANT A SECOND COGECO DIGITAL RECEIVER?
Digital receivers can be bought for $199.99 or rented for $7.95 per month.

5. WITH COGECO DIGITAL CABLE, CAN I WATCH HPItv ON MORE THAN ONE TELEVISION SET?
In order to watch 2 different digital channels on 2 different televisions, a separate receiver must be purchased.

6. WITH COGECO DIGITAL CABLE, CAN I TERMINATE THE SERVICE AT ANY TIME?
Yes, there is no contract, and once you purchase the digital receiver, it is yours to keep.

* Wagering is available on Southern California, New York, Kentucky, Florida, Hong Kong, Australia, Louisiana, Maryland and Woodbine Entertainment Group thoroughbred races. It is also available on Illinois, New Jersey and Woodbine Entertainment Group standardbred races.

Due to federal regulations, Ontario customers must show proof of residency within Woodbine Entertainment Group's home market area (greater Toronto area now including Pickering, Whitby, Ajax and Oshawa, Brampton, Richmond Hill and Cambridge.
