There are three methods to change your wagering PIN:
- Online in the Account Services section of HorsePlayerInteractive.com
- By the automated HPI telephone wagering system (Not available to Quebec residents)
- Through Self Serve Terminal with your HPI account card.

If you attempt to use HPIBET and the HPI telephone wagering system at the same time you may receive a message indicating that your account is busy. We recommend you use only one wagering application at a time.
Yes, your current account balance is shown at the top of the page after signing in to HPIBET. Within both HPIBET Web Edition, HPI Mobile or HPI Mobile Classic, once a winning wager has been paid out you will need to click on the Refresh button to see the change to your account balance.
As per the HPI Account Wagering Terms and Conditions, use of your account by persons other than you is strictly prohibited and will result in termination of your account. You are legally responsible for all wagering placed through your account using your access credentials, whether by you or any other person - with or without your knowledge or consent. You are legally responsible until you notify HPI that the confidentiality of your account has been compromised and you have received confirmation from HPI confirming cancelation of your account. You bear full responsibility for maintaining the confidentiality of your account, including your access credentials.
Yes your account will be usable for HPIBET. However you may first need to activate your account and assign yourself an HPIBET specific User ID. You can activate your account by selecting the 'Click Here' link on the HPIBET Web Edition login page. This will allow you to choose your own User ID for use with HPIBET. If you forget your user ID please call the call centre at 1-888-675-8886 to speak to an HPI representative.
7. Will I be able to use my account on the same day that I open my account?
Yes, once you receive your account number you can use your account right away.
- Online applications must successfully complete the identity verification process provided by Equifax Canada, Inc. Your account number is then emailed to you upon verification. (Customers from the BC, Flamboro, Georgian and Grand River territories will receive their account number by e-mail within 48 hours. To find out if you fall under one of these territories, please contact the HPI Customer Care Centre at 1-888-675-8886)
- Fax, E-Mail or Mail applications will receive an account number by way of your desired contact preference after we receive a signed application form and all appropriate photo identification is provided.
- In person applicants will receive an account number after completing an application form and all appropriate photo identification is provided.
In order to process credit card deposits over the phone or via our online funding, your online credit card registration must complete the identity verification process provided by Equifax Canada, Inc. or service a signed credit card registration form and credit card photocopies to be supplied and be verified with the issuing bank.
8. Who can sign Up for a HPI account ?
